Many web sites post weekly problems for many grade and ability levels. Here are a few selections.

Win a Casio Calculator!
The University of Central Florida Mathematics Education Program hosts a math problem of the week contest. Different problems for elementary, middle, and high school.

Weekly Brain Teasers - Houghton Mifflin sponsored puzzles for early elementary, upper elementary, and middle school.

Math Forum Problems of the Week - Grades 3-12. POWs are designed to provide creative, non-routine challenges for students in grades three through twelve. Problem-solving and mathematical communication are key elements of every problem.

Mentoring for POW - Teachers, students or classes can become a mentor for Problems of the Week. Mentors volunteer to reply to solutions submitted by students in grades six to nine. For students and classes, being a mentor increases skill in discussing their problem-solving techniques and is an incredible learning experience.
